Who does not love sleep; I am the first to take a quick nap anywhere I can rest my head and I am always the first to call it a night and make sure I get that 8 hours in. Sleep allows your subconscious to process and your body to rejuvenate. Messing with sleep is definitely a huge no-no.
Spend time with loved ones
I am a major family person. Any extra time I get with those I love and care about, especially my furry friend is an instant boost in happiness. When you surround yourself with people you care for and care about you, your sense of self-worth, esteem and joy increase immensely!
As you know by now, I am all about creating a balance within you and then bringing that to your physical world. It is so important that we lead a life that is in line with who we are. A life of balance eliminates chaos, distractions and boredom. A life of balance creates purpose, joy and harmony.
The more thankful you are, the more you will receive. Truthfully, when you are being grateful you realize just how much you have to be grateful for. Most of the time you won't even be able to remember everything and as you finish giving your thanks you’ll realize you still have another hours worth of thanks to give! Being thankful lifts your spirits because you realize how blessed you are, and this opens you up to receiving more!
Being your best friend is the best gift you can give yourself. Be kind to yourself, love yourself and treat yourself! Self-care really is the best care. When you take the time to look after you, you will find yourself feeling refreshed, more productive and caring towards others! Putting yourself first is fundamental in living a happy life.
Ultimately creating a life full of happiness is about your mindset and way of life. If you take the steps to understand yourself and to really look at the beauty this world has to offer, you will find happiness within. Happiness and joy are not elusive emotions that you have to chase to achieve. It simply is in the way you think.
